So you know exactly what to expect from our design and construct service here is a step by step process of how we cr-eate!
1. Assess Questionnaire
Please fill in and submit the following questionnaire, this will help us with the design process. Once we receive your completed questionnaire, we parse it thoroughly and take in all the details getting in tune with your goals.
2. Initial consultation
During this on-site consultation we will assess and photograph the space, review and consult space plans and discuss your project requirements, client needs, schedules and budgets. By talking with you, we will establish your individual requirements for the space, the function, layout options, aesthetics, your must haves and your wish list. We’ll ask questions. You’ll ask questions.
3. Estimate / Proposal
Following the initial on-site consultation we will present with one Estimate / Proposal from the two options below:
Option 1: A "mood board" estimate This option covers an arrangement of reference images, materials and narrative to evoke the style or concept, an estimated quote, time frame and payment details. *A design engagement fee is required for this option. The proposed design will have your wants and requirements all ascertained in the brief.
Option 2: A detailed visual and concept proposal with renders of the space and Installations. This option covers every aspect of what we will be doing throughout the project, 3d renders, project details, quote, time frame, payment. *A design engagement fee is required for this option, which once agreed upon, commissions us to produce and present preliminary concept drawings, 3d renders and specifications including finishes and fixtures. The proposed design will have your wants and requirements all ascertained in the brief.
*Please note the Design Engagement Fee’s primary purpose is to cr-eate an atmosphere of mutual commitment between the designer and the client and does go towards the final design cost of the project
4. Design Development
During this Stage, the design is further developed and any necessary modifications are made to the design. All drawings and specifications including finishes and fixtures are finalized. A site meeting with relevant trades will be required to establish costs associated with the project. At this stage we will also discuss a proposed timeline for construction and to coordinate the project from start to finish.
5. Final Approval and Agreement
A detailed quotation will be presented including a complete schedule that contains product pricing/specification, labor and installations costs. Once the all the drawings, specifications and quotation are approved we will send you our design services agreement with the initial invoice. The project only starts once we have received the first payment. After the deposit has cleared, the project can begin.
To ensure the smooth running of the project from start to finish, we can put together the other members of the project team, such as consultants for lighting, commercial floors, millwork, carpentry and built-out based on the documented design and specifications, we will be in regular contact with you throughout the construction stage of your project and keep you updated with our progress on site. We will combine one of a kind typography, imagery, way finding systems, architectural graphics, signage and art in order to cr-eate an engaging and meaningful interaction between the space and the customer.
